I believe that as a group we will not have that many issues. We have known each other for a while, get along pretty well, and respect each other’s ideas. Meeting times will be a bit of a challenge. Ling and I have similar schedules while George’s is pretty different. On top of that Ling and George are commuters and I dorm; so having meetings on the weekend would be a last resort. We just need to sit down and determine when we would be meeting outside of class each week. At these meetings I believe that we should discuss everything and anything that pertain to the project, with one person taking notes. This way we can make sure that we are getting everything accomplished, not forgetting anything, and hearing all new ideas. Doing this we will all know due dates and can assist each other on some of the individual projects.
The biggest problem that we would have is none of us truly understanding the assignment or what we are supposed to do. That can be easily remedied by asking the professor or the teaching fellows for assistance. I know that we are expected to each have certain roles and responsibilities, but it would be difficult to define that for each of us because in the end we will each have done a little bit of everything.
Overall, we won’t have any problems when it comes to the actual teamwork, we might just have problems getting to that point.
